Slotting in the middle of the displacement charts in Star's line-up, the 2006 V-Star 1300 is a great choice for those in search of a cruiser with plenty of character and real estate for two, but with a more moderate approach to power and displacement. Far from being a slacker, this bike is only a more tamed version of the biggest-displacement beasts, and is fully-capable to keep up the pace with any other bikes in its class.

Slow, slender and properly cool, the bike looks as sharp as any other classic cruiser. The 1304cc v-twin gets liquid cooling for better performance in very hot weather, while the short stroke ensures a great tone for the chunky exhaust. Add ins cast wheels, beefy tires, a retro-looks modern-tech speedo and a vintage headlight with revised, modern cues and chrome in all the right places.
